Not worried about spam since so few visit here now. Replace at with symbol. Admin please don’t delete my post right away. Feel like I’ve contributed enough to cut me some slack.

    Heading to Merritt area Monday
Might hit lundbom, round, or dot. Any other suggestions for that area ?

Have to replace word at with @
    And add dot com .
I usually don’t do so good in clear water.

Finished the summer with one more chilcotin trip. Weather was great and tried a new lake , Kappan near anahim lake . It’s a big lake for me and we only trolled a third of it in 3 hours. First couple hours were slow with a couple of fish but we found the hotspot and then had about 20 fish in last hour just as sun setting. One nice 3lb that fought hard. Will come back again but warning that road is quite rough last 3 km to eastern boat launch. Wouldn’t want to take a car there.

In total we fished 3 lakes, 3 guys over 3 days and caught 135 rainbows. Only kept 6. Each lake we were only ones fishing except once when lake was packed with 4 boats ?

Now focused on finding a few good lakes in 100 mile house area. Have fished about 20 in that region but haven’t found a lake that consistently produces larger then 2lb trolling in less then 30 feet of water. Had decent success at Fawn, Simon, and greenlee. Don’t have the boat for big lakes like Sheridan, bridge, deka, or horse.

Gonna try Eagan, goose, and maybe Scot lake.

Hope everyone has some good fall fishing.

For those of you who may not be aware there is a new boat launch at Pass Lake. It is about 1/3 of the way between the current launch and the ranch building at the end. Some parking there but no campsites.

Itching to get out and go ice fishing. Wondering if Rose, Tulip, and Horseshoe might have safe ice.

There was a tent on Rose the other day but Tulip was too thin in my opinion. getting close but I’d say not quite yet. If you do go PLEASE CHECK THE ICE before venturing out on it. πŸ˜‰
