Welcome Chad! π
Happy New Year everyone. Looking forward to ice off and as good a spring as last year.
Oh well must tie flys and wait…lol
Happy New Year Don! Yes it’s the tying season we will be at the bench as well. Fingers crossed for an early ice off!
Wondering if Paul Lake is frozen, wanting to go after some kokanee and Monte Lake is apparantly still ice free.
Buddy was there Thursday and there was only about an inch of ice .. and it wasn’t strong ice either. And with temps in the +’s all week I’d doubt that it would be safe even by the weekend. π
Went to Edith this morning. Brookies were cooperating. Caught 9 kept 3. Hoping Paul will have safe ice by next week, there is nothing better than kokanee fishing through the ice.
The kokanee are safe lol!
Safe???? Come on. Dig the float tube out of the shed, go to Paul Lake, catch your 5 kokanee, then drive the tube up to Harper and take a few runs at the tube park. Heck of a Sunday, if you ask me…?
Did awesome on chromies at Roche. Size 12s! Then I woke up
You had me for about 3 seconds … then I looked outside π
Hi all.I have a question. Why does Paul Lake NOT show up on the ice off report?
Only because no one has sent in information on it. If you have some old data we can add it all into the document. If not we can always start it off this year as soon as the data comes in π
Thanks Guys, I don’t have that data myself but maybe someone out there does. Would be nice. Thanks again.
-32 coming over the connector yesterday , sounds like the ice is going to be around for awhile yet , tie on !!
π
The way that the cold is hanging around, we may be in for later ice off if we don’t get some warmer weather. It’s been a while since we have had a cold spell such as this one.
Forecast is looking good again π If it proves true I think we’re looking at a pretty normal Kamloops area lakes ice off … which would be peerrffeect! π
Data update coming soon and no stats is what i get on the spreadsheet…. just me?
Is the spreadsheet up and running because i just get a msg saying “data update coming soon”
Sorry guys the file got corrupted and we’re trying to rebuild it as fast as possible. Thanks for your patience.
Thanks for respnse,,,,thought it might have just been me.
I could email you my MS Excel file if it would help.
Unfortunately I did not update it for 2018.
Tom
Thanks it may come to that but gimme another couple days I think Ima get it π
I just stumbled upon this 2019 start up….went for a walk along Kalamalka Lake today. We started from the boat launch at Kekuli Bay and walked North …Kal Lake is still frozen on both ends with skiff ice floating around….saw 5 boats out and a couple people fishing …I will probably wait for the snow to melt around my house for better access to my boat and avoid snow shovelling before I go fishing…
And so it begins ……. π
Finally!!! Thanks for the update!!!!
And where are we in the pics?
Top two look like Six Mile (Pat) Lake, and bottom one looks like Morgan.
