Crazy Charlie Pink Bonefish Fly Pattern
Well since we’ve already written an article on how to fish the productive Crazy Charlie Pink Bonefish Fly, in this post we’ll get right down to business on the tying instructions!
Crazy Charlie Pink Bonefish Fly | Materials List:
- HOOK: Mustad 34007 SS #2
- THREAD: Uni-thread 6/0 mauve
- EYES (& in this case weight): Barbell 3/16″
- BODY: Medium vinyl rib fluorescent pink
- WING: Synthetic hair pink
- FLASH WING: Flashabou extra limp blue-pearl
Crazy Charlie Pink Bonefish Fly | Tying Directions:
Tie ribbing in and secure eyes on top of the hook. I like to build up the thread on either side of where I want the eyes to sit. This gives you a saddle to sit the barbells in and makes it easier to secure.
Wind the rib forward and secure.
Invert the fly and tie in the hair securing both in front of the eyes and behind. Tie in 6 or 7b strands of the flashabou and whip finish.
