Well it was a nice day so I loaded up the quad to check out a few Kamloops area lakes around Roche lake. Did a big loop cruising by Frisken, Bulman, Ernest, Bog, Black, Rose, Tulip, Horseshoe, John Frank, Campbell, Scuitto and Bleeker lakes! All that I can say is that the latest cold weather hasn’t helped anything as all the lakes I checked out were still pretty much full ice on but starting to get soft around the edges. Here’s a few pictures:
Sent the rest of the pictures to Rob who should be posting them on our 2010 Gallery page soon.
All in all it was a great trip till a branch ripped off the valve stem on one of my back tires …
but no problem … the CAT got me home!
Be sure to check out the ice & thaw status of many other great Kamloops area fly fishing lakes on our web cams page!

Nice report JeFF!
Thanks for posting your findings! 🙂
Since your outing I have heard the Scuitto is now mostly open! I just might have to try it out this coming weekend!
