Hey guys, anyone been know if Monte is frozen, and will still be frozen for Jan 26th?
Yup it’s frozen and people are fishing it. The weather has turned for the better so unfortunately not sure anyone can say for certain if it will have safe ice on the 26th
Ok, it’s a long winter one way and another but how about a little optimism? Please give us some hope, where’s the ice off model? Surely it will end, right? Lol.
Thanks for the reminder Heff! Doc is up … let’s fill it up! π
Sawmill yesterday …
Gunna be a while yet π
I was up to Edith Saturday (March 21/20), late afternoon. Still lots of ice. Gonna be a while yet. Tried to get into Hyas Lake earlier the same day … still way too much snow. Got part way up the road, and chickened out – didn’t want to get stuck. Tried to upload a photo of Edith … not sure how to do that, if it can be done.
Thanks Scot! You can email pics anytime to bcflyguys@gmail.com and we’ll amend them to your post π See post below for recent Edith pic (in the comments by Jeff M) …

Was up to 6 Mile (Pat) and Morgan today (Mar 28, 2020). The ice is melting fast along the shore lines. A few fishers up there already π Won’t be long now!
Thanks for the update Scot K!
Six Mile ice free, minus 2 degrees and 30 km/hr wind. No boats on the lake!!??
Thank you … spread sheet updated! π

April fools? Letβs see some pics
Swan is definitely clear. One boat out there today, but very windy.
Swan had lots of ice Mar 31 all at the South end. Apr 1, it was gone, and boats on the water. Heading up to 6 Mile and Morgan tomorrow to try my luck. Been typing cronies and leeches like a madman ! Tight lines…
Gardom yesterday (thanks Glen π ) …….
