Sunday April 18, 2010:
Sunny & clear with a bit of wind on this low elevation (approx 1800 feet) Kamloops area lake. The water temperature was 53 F and the lake appeared to be in turn over.
There were lots of chironomids hatching but we fished a green leech and it produced with 4 fish landed, 4 fish released, and 2 fish lost. Throat pump revealed that they were eating mayflys – yes that’s right, April 19 and they were full of mayflys!
Picture is of our biggest fish.
