Golden Baked Halibut Recipe | Ingredients:
- Pieces of Halibut, skin removed – approx. 2 1/2lbs
- 1 C Hellman’s Mayonnaise
- ½ C Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ C Butter
- 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 Chopped Green Onion
- 2 tsp Lemon Dill Seasoning
- Olive Oil
Golden Baked Halibut Recipe | Directions:
Remove skin and rinse Halibut well. Cover baking pan with light coating of olive oil. Lay Halibut in pan. Sprinkle with Pepper. You don’t need to use salt now as the cheese is quite salty. Bake in 375F oven for 15 minutes.
In a small saucepan let butter soften and mix in minced garlic. Let butter and garlic heat slowly, just enough to let the garlic flavour into the butter. Do not brown the garlic. Mix into the butter and garlic all the remaining ingredients. Take the Halibut out of the oven. Turn the oven setting to broil. Spread the Mayo mixture evenly on the Halibut. Place Halibut back in oven under the broiler. Broil for approx. 7 – 10 minutes until topping is starting to lightly brown. Fish should flake apart easily with fork and topping should be lightly browned when done.
Cooking/Broiling times may need to be adjusted due to the thickness of the Halibut.
