Went to Jacko on Monday and got this fish!

Went back on Tuesday for seconds and didn’t get a bite. Both days had great chironomid hatches.

  9. Hayden Harsch says:

Went to dragon lake outside of quesnel two weeks ago, ice got of the day we got in and my dad caught this beast
lake is probably turning right now not the best fishing but he caught that trolling a 8 black leech and we caught 3 more on a strike indicator with a size 14 micro leech black/red

  10. MARK says:

Any reports on Red lake would be much appreciated,
    Thanx

    • JeFF says:

Was at Red May 1 & 2. Day one it took a while to find the fish but when we did it was a fish a cast! Day two we went right to the spot and were into fish all day. Nothing real big … rainbows to 2ish lbs and brookies to 3ish.

The North end is starting to turn but the South end was still clean and SHALLOW is the key! Lots of chronies were working but Krazy’s RLS (Roche Lake Special … which could also be called the Red Lake Special I think ) was out performing everything else! πŸ˜‰

      Tight lines!

    • Don says:

Friend of mine fished it for 2 days, Tues and Wed…..30th and 1st. on first day caught 7 (2 guys) second day landed 2 lost a bunch.. seemed bigger. Leaches…. tried chronies..no luck. Hope this helps πŸ™‚

  11. MARK says:

Thanx for the info guys, think I’ll check it out today !

  12. ollie says:

Did the south thompson from Pionneer park boat launch up to pritcherd brige and back , one nice Kamloops Rainboo . Two others. Then 5 soft hits on my line.

  13. fishaholic says:

A friend and I fished up at Scuito today. Started off slow do to some engine difficulties, which forced us to row our way around the lake. No complaints though turned out to be a very productive day with both of us catching more than 10 fish a piece in the 2lbs-3lbs range all caught on small blue fox spinners. Sorry no pictures.

  14. Darryl says:

    FYI
Morgan Lake has been a little slow this week. Fished it twice and caught and hooked a total of 9 fish. On Tuesday I, and some others were doing well on leeches, but on Thursday they were off the leeches and hitting chronies. Biggest fish for me was 18 ” although I did see two guys land fish in the 22 – 24 inch range. However, it is a bit slow and from what I am hearing other lakes (Jacko, Six Mile, Squitto) are fishing better.

  15. admin says:

Shaylin reported on our facebook page that Blue lake fished decent last week with a few fish 18+

Stopped by Roche lake yesterday evening to check out the water conditions. Still a bit murky but better than last week. Fish are moving & feeding … will only get better from here on! πŸ™‚
