    Thanks Larry !
My day was on Friday. Lots of people around the lake area, even trucks with boats up to have a look. 8 hrs in the boat, and only 1 fish to show for it, but what a fish !
    Cheers

I don’t sit much more than 15 minutes at a time. I’m up casting, or stretching. And if you have ever had the displeasure of fishing beside me, I always have music playing, and I’m bouncing around, some could call it dancing, so I don’t get bored easy. I’m a hunter too, so I can sit for about 4 hrs without moving too much in a tree stand. As long as I can stand up, I can be pretty patient., which I’m told is a virtue ! haha
That day, I think I made a move once, which was about 50′, to slightly shallower water…which is where the action happened ! Like 15 minutes after moving, I got the bite.
Looking forward to these next 2 months, could be some killer fishing !

Congratulations on such a nice fish.

As you are a new fly fisher, please take this as constructive advice/criticism… unless you bonk a fish, don’t hold it by the gill plate. It harms the fish. Please research some proper catch and release techniques.

    Tight lines!
