Shark’s Caddis Larva
Developed by Radoslav Kiskinov, the Shark’s Caddis larva fly pattern is a very simple and realistic fly imitating the Caddis larva. It’s main trait is the body of twisted Antron yarn with hare’s fur. It’s main purpose is to catch fish – which it does very well when the trout are on the sedge larvae!
Here’s how to tie it:
Material
Hook: Curved (any kind of model for Caddis patterns)
Thread: Black
Head: Gold bead to match the hook size
Body: Yellow Antron yarn and hare’s underfur dubbing hair
Thorax: Two peacock herl (or dark brown Antron)
Step by Step Tying Instructions
and that’s it folks … the Shark’s Caddis Larva!

If the brass beads hadn’t been on the flies, they would have been hard to spot!
Impressive fly.
