& with the ice finally off around here - we went fishing!
it was a bit rough getting in ...
but when we arrived the heavens shone down upon us ...
and started catching a bunch of these!!!

where the mayflys were thick ...

so we hooked up the flyguy mayfly ...

& we're off to a good start!
& then this rolled in & slowed things right down!
even sharky's action dried up ...
doug & jimbo were stumped too!
so when the fish stopped eating ... we started!

day 2 & sharky got right down to business!
a quick throat sample told us what they were eating ...
& it was game on for a while with little guys like this!
but we persevered...
...& JFM caught his first ever walter lake fish!

... & of course the very next day King Ron hooks this close to double digit monster!!!
& persistance pays off for sharky with a couple beauties in the 7's making the 'wall of fame'!!!
All in all a fun trip despite the weather, slow fishing and not catching fish like King Ron & Sharky!
we interupt this BC broadcast with a trip to Belize!
